Last week's Talent Show was a wonderful showcase of this community's talent, enthusiasm, and support for one another. We are so proud of our students for taking risks, trying something new, working interdependently, and showing up for each other.

Hot Lunch Order
Hot Lunch this Friday (3/20) is: Chicken Strips, Juice Box, Fruit/Veg, and a Side Item.
The cost of each lunch will be $9.00. A second (or even a third) slice, bagel, etc. may be ordered for an additional $3.00 each.
Here is the form, when you complete your order, you will receive a receipt via email.
Orders are placed on Thursday morning. All orders must be submitted by end of day on Wednesday.
Class Pictures This Friday, March 20
Time to get photo-ready, Kittredge! MugsyClicks will be back again this Friday, March 20, for class pictures. Students are encouraged to dress to impress. We look forward to seeing these pictures in our yearbook!
No Cooking Class Tomorrow
As a reminder, there will be no Cooking Class this week. Classes will resume again next week (3/25).

Conferences Next Week
Conferences for the second trimester will be held Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27. By now, all parents should have signed up for a conference time. If you need to make a change to your appointment time, please do so by contacting your child's teacher directly.
Both conference days will be minimum days with a noon dismissal. Students may drop into extended day for the duration of your conference. If you would like your child to attend Extended Day for the afternoon, please let us know using this Google form.
Mahjong and More! with Katie Mondays 4-5pm
Open to students grades 5-8
4 sessions: March 23, [short break], April 13, 20, 27
In this afterschool class, students will learn how to play American Mahjong and explore a variety of fun board games. Whether learning something new or enjoying tried-and-true favorites, students will be part of a relaxed and social environment that encourages strategic thinking, friendly competition and teamwork. Snacks included!

New Science Club Starting Next Tuesday!
Ms. Rose has another fantastic session of Science Club starting up again next week. Science Club sessions consist of thematic units held after school Tuesdays from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm. Students will join Extended Day on the playground from dismissal until 3:15pm. Snack is provided.
Science Club is an exciting after-school STEAM enrichment program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Science Club is an opportunity to learn about science, have fun with friends, and make projects to bring home, or give as gifts to friends and family.

Kittredge Summer School right around the corner!
Believe it or not, we're gearing up for summer over here! We are excited to once again begin preparing for the Kittredge Summer Program, a 5-week program that combines an academic morning with a variety of afternoon workshops! Students in our program have the opportunity to cement grade-level knowledge, explore new concepts, build exciting projects, and try out new hobbies! In past summers ours students have tried everything from writing their own plays to cooking their own meals, all while putting in time with a classroom teacher to maintain and strengthen their core subject knowledge. It’s a ton of fun, and we hope your child will join us.

KPA Korner
Save the Date: KPA Meeting on April 14
Our last KPA meeting of the year will be a hybrid meeting on April 14 at 6 pm. Join us at school in person if you can. There will be free childcare and pizza!
Teacher Appreciation Week: May 4-8
If you would like to bring any goodies for the staff during teacher appreciation week (May 4-8) please coordinate the day with Lisa Wongchenko (lisawongchenko@gmail.com). Please note the KPA organized teacher appreciation luncheon is on June 10, but individual families are welcome to bring treats during this week of May as well.
Spring Camping Trip May 15-17
There is still room to join our Spring Camping Trip on May 15-17 at the Sonoma Coast State Park - Bodega Dunes Campground! Please RSVP to Leyla at alievaleila@gmail.com to join the fun. (Please include the number of adults, kids, and cars in your party so we can plan accordingly.)
