A Note From the Auction Chair

It’s that time of year…the time when the KPA starts reminding you to SAVE THE DATE for the 2017 KPA Dinner and Auction! The event this year will be on May 6th at the War Memorial–the event is always a wonderful evening full of great food, great company, and a wonderful opportunity to help us raise funds to support programs for our kids. The KPA uses the funds raised at this event to fund field trips, technology purchases, sports uniforms, classroom materials, and so much more! We will be sending home a packet with much more info about the event with your child soon, but we wanted to get it on your calendar NOW!

As always, our #1 request for you is to come and join the fun! But if you want to help out even more, there are so many ways you can do so. You could…

  1. Come help with planning, logistics, etc–we can *always* use more hands! If you’re interested in helping here, shoot an email to Liz Singer (nakamoto@gmail.com)

  2. Sponsor our auction directly by underwriting a specific part of the event–keep your eye out for a letter coming home with your child soon with details on auction sponsorship.

  3. Donate an item or service to be auctioned in the Live or Silent auction. We’ve had celebrity chef dinners, birthday party cupcakes, vacation home weekends, beach picnics, bikes, booze, art, and pretty much anything else you can imagine donated over the years and people love them! Or ask your favorite restaurant or shop if they can donate to the auction–often they appreciate the opportunity to reach a new set of customers!

But regardless of how or whether you want to help the KPA put on the event, please make sure you save the date and JOIN US!!
