Welcome Back!
We are so happy to all be back together, now that our 7th/8th graders have returned from Yosemite and all of us have, hopefully, enjoyed a restful break!
Hot Lunch Order
Hot Lunch this Friday (2/27) is: Chicken Strips, Juice Box, Fruit/Veg, and a Side Item.
The cost of each lunch will be $9.00. A second (or even a third) slice, bagel, etc. may be ordered for an additional $3.00 each.
When you complete your order, you will receive a receipt via email. If you have not already filled it out, here is the form!
Orders are placed on Thursday morning. All orders must be submitted by end of day on Wednesday.
Spirit Day: Denim Day
This Friday is Denim Day! We can't wait to see what everyone digs out for Denim Day, from bags to full Canadian Tuxes!
Next Week
Futsal is starting up again!
Futsal season is quickly approaching with their first game next Friday (5:15 at Burkes School)! Permission slips will be sent home with kids this week from Ms. Gules.

Mr. L’s band, Retros, is playing an all-age afternoon gig in Petaluma next Sunday, March 8 (2:00-6:00) at Griffo’s Distillery (320 Scott Street, Unit A). If you’d like to check out what you might be seeing if you come retrospop.com will let you take a peak!
Looking Ahead
Mark you calendars, the Talent Show is coming up!
The Kittredge Talent Show will be Thursday, March 12, at the JCHS Theater. Students should be in their seat no later than 6:15, and the show will begin at 6:30.
Ms. K has sent out instructions regarding costumes and more information is on the way! I have included a cheat sheet for class costumes below:
K-3: SpongeBob
Color palette: clothes that are yellow, red, brown, white and/or black
Ties, suspenders, and plaids are very encouraged!
Footwear can be anything that's comfortable to move in, regardless of color.
4-6: Sheldon & Karen
Color palette: clothes that are black, green, purple, silver
Crazy hair encouraged!
Footwear can be anything that's comfortable to move in, regardless of color.
7: "You'll Be Back"
Color Palette: red, yellow/gold, black, white (absolutely NO BLUE!!); historical pieces (capes, crowns, etc.) encouraged but not required. All modern clothing is totally OK.
Footwear can be anything you feel comfortable dancing in, regardless of color.
8: "Yorktown"
Color Palette: blue, black, white, tan, brown, (absolutely NO RED!!); historical pieces would be awesome, but all modern clothing is totally ok too.
Try to wear at least one piece of blue. Footwear can be anything you feel comfortable dancing in, regardless of color.
Second Trimester Ends Thursday, March 12
We're almost there! Trimester two is very nearly a thing of the past. If your child needs a last minute push, this is it! Check over Teacherease to see if anything is missing and communicate with your child about how they feel their trimester is going.

Spring Camping Trip May 15-17
A reminder that our Spring Camping Trip is planned for May 15-17 at the Sonoma Coast State Park - Bodega Dunes Campground! Please RSVP to Leyla at alievaleila@gmail.com to join the fun. (Please include the number of adults, kids, and cars in your party so we can plan accordingly.)
