Thank you KPA
Our talent show last month was a huge success and lots of fun. The whole school community thanks the KPA for their generosity in funding the beautiful venue that we all enjoyed. The reception in the atrium with coffee and light snacks was a wonderful way to begin the evening. Let’s do it again next year!
Give Yourselves a Hand… $365.00 was Raised!
The 4th/5th grade hosted a very successful bake sale last week. The school raised $365.00 for the Make a Wish Foundation and we all enjoyed delicious goodies as well. Thank you everyone for your part in this event!

Summer at Kittredge – June 18 to July 20
Summer is a great opportunity to engage children in activities that enrich their academic foundation and keep them involved and interested in learning.
Our 5-week summer program is open to students entering first through eighth grades. Mornings are designed to keep students active and their grade level skills strong. The afternoons offer a variety of free play and structured activities. If you are interested, please return an enrollment form to reserve a space for your child. Applications are available in the office or you can download one from our website.
April’s Habit of Mind: Finding Humor
“A sense of humor is part of the art of leadership, of getting along with people, of getting things done.” ~Dwight D. Eisenhower
People who laugh a lot usually have a positive attitude and the ability to find humor even when things are not going well.
There are right and wrong ways to find humor.
Right ways are: building each other up and being supportive, not making offensive jokes, and not being afraid to laugh at yourself. Wrong ways are: employing laughter to humiliate others while not being able to laugh at yourself, finding humor by using vulgarity, violence, and profanity.
“It is the ability to take a joke, not make one, that proves you have a sense of humor.” ~Max Eastman, American writer, philosopher and activist
