Happy New Year and Welcome Back
Once again the Holiday Happening kicked off our winter break with great community spirit. Thank you to the KPA, and especially Thalia Kent and Tatiana Piech, for organizing this popular event. Thanks also, to all the families who came and shared the good time and good will with us that evening.
We’re all very happy to see everyone back at school and to begin a new year together.

Hot Lunch Returns
Sleep a little later and skip the chore of packing a lunch on Fridays. The 8th grade class brings this lunch program to you. It helps finance their weeklong program at Yosemite Park with NatureBridge. Lunch forms must be returned by Thursday so that we can count your child’s order. Science Club Continues
There are still 2 weeks left in the current session of Science with Ms. Rose. A new session will begin the week of January 22. Look for the next flyer if your child would like to join this in-depth and hands-on science exploration.

New Chess Session will Begin on Friday, January 26
A new session will begin this month and continuing students as well as new students can register online at: www.academicchess.com. Registration forms can be downloaded here Chess at Kittredge and are also in the office if you want one.

As written in our calendar, there will be no classes or Extended Day on Monday, January 15 in observance of MLK, Jr. Day. Enjoy the three-day weekend!

Also Coming in January: Re-enrollment for Next Year
From January 26 until February 9 TADS online enrollment will be open for current families. If your child will be returning to Kittredge next year, you will need to complete this form online by February 9th. There will be a $1000.00 deposit needed at that time to hold a space for your child.
