We have a small but powerful team of runners and practice began yesterday. Thank you to Susan Keene and Tatiana Pietch who ran with the kids. Today, we thank Tom Vilhauer for running and staffing the practice. Sometimes it takes a village, and we couldn’t be doing this without your help and support. We’re looking forward to our first running meet tomorrow at the Polo Fields. Go Gags!

All 7th and 8th grade families are encouraged to attend this informational meeting. Come learn about a typical day at NatureBridge. You will get an overview of the week in Yosemite Park as well as a feel for what we expect of each student academically and socially. You will also get a look at the new NatureBridge facilities in Wawona.
This is a very important meeting for 7th graders and their families and a good refresher for our 8th grade families.
High School Visit Days for 8th Graders
October 11 and 17 are “no school” days for our 8th grade students. These days are designed to allow 8th graders to visit high schools and work on their application essays without missing class time.
NOVEMBER DATES TO REMEMBER
Sibling Applications are Due November 19th
If you would like to have a sibling be considered for our 2019 early decision, we will have our TADS on-line application available for you in October. Please return the parent and teacher forms by November 19th. Early decisions will be sent December 17.
GENERAL KITTREDGE INFORMATION
Help Kittredge Be a Good Neighbor!
Over the years, Kittredge School’s neighbors have been wonderfully supportive about having us in their midst. Every year we ask for your help to keep it this way. We ask that when you drop off and pick up your child, please do not double-park and leave your car unattended, block our neighbors’ driveways or the intersection of 25th and Lake. Thank you, Kittredge and our neighbors will both appreciate it!
Private Violin Lessons are now available after School on Mondays
Crystal Chiu-Von Pischke
Do you have a child who loves music, but hasn’t picked up an instrument before? Or maybe you have a child who already plays in orchestra, and could benefit from private instruction. I can help! I have been teaching kids for almost 10 years. I have extensive experience in solo violin repertoire, orchestral repertoire, chamber music, and fiddle music. I incorporate some singing, dancing, music theory, and ear training into my lessons. I believe in making learning fun, and my reward comes from seeing your child grow and progress. Please email me if interested! Crystal Chiu-Von Pischke, firstname.lastname@example.org
