Thank You for Coming to the Fall Picnic!

Another successful Fall Picnic in the books! We loved seeing students, parents, and teachers chatting, laughing, and playing in Mountain Lake Park. Between the delicious potluck dishes and the great company, we truly couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the year. Thank you, Kittredge!

Back-to-School Night is TOMORROW!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm we invite you to join us here at Kittredge for a night of getting to know your child's teachers and the rest of the school! As a reminder, this is an opportunity to meet your child's teachers, but this is not a parent-teacher conference. Please reach out to your child's teacher to schedule a meeting if you need a one-on-one discussion.

We understand that some parents have multiple Kittredge students, and need to split between two classrooms. If this is the case for you, we understand! Your child's teacher can make sure you get all of the information you need. Similarly, if you are unable to attend Back-to-School Night, please let us know! We will make sure to get you the important information.

Extended Day will close at 6pm, as usual. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer childcare during Back to School night.

Hot Lunch

Hot Lunch this Friday (9/18) will be: Caesar Salad, Juice Box, Piece of Fruit, Side Item.

The cost of each lunch will be $9.50. A second (or even a third) slice, bagel, etc. may be ordered for an additional $3.00 each.

If you have not already done so for the month, place your orders using this Google form.

Orders are placed on Thursday morning. All orders must be submitted by end of day on Wednesday.

We love to show our Kittredge Pride on Fridays, so make sure you join in! Teachers and students create class tailored celebrations as a reward for showing our Kittredge Pride on Fridays!

Drop Off and Pick up Reminders

Thank you to all of our parents for making drop off and pick up run smoothly and safely. We want to make sure that we are continuing to create a safe environment for our community and neighborhood! With this in mind, please be careful driving around the school and looking out for all our little friends that may still be learning crosswalk safety. If it means being safe, do not hesitate to take an extra loop around the block even if it will make your student a few minutes late. Safety is our top priority and we want to take care of our community!

Cross Country

Cross Country has begun! Practices are Monday and Wednesday after school from 3:15-4:00pm. Pickup will be in the courtyard. We kicked off our season yesterday with an exciting first meet at Hellman Hollow with 9 Kittredge athletes running! Let's go Coyotes!

Student Council

We want to extend a huge congratulations to all of our incredible candidates that ran for Student Council this year!! Congratulations to Summer, Olesia, Thad, Abby, Wesley, Adam, Grange, Ruby, Momo, and Dhruva! You guys ROCK!! We couldn't be more proud of the students who put themselves out there, tried something new, and volunteered to be a part of what makes Kittredge great!

There is still time to sign up for some amazing afterschool workshops. You can find a lit of current offerings here! Our Chess Club starts next Friday, September 25!

Volleyball Starts Next Week

Permission slips will go out this week to middle school students who are interested in joining the volleyball team. The season gets off to a quick start with our first game NEXT Tuesday, September 22nd!

Free Community Event at Kittredge Tonight!

Know anyone that wants to learn more about the private school admissions process? Kittredge will be hosting a free workshop tonight, September 15th from 6-7pm!

KPA Korner

KPA Meeting on September 22 at 6 pm

We would love to see you at the first KPA meeting of the year on September 22 from 6-7 pm at school, where we will discuss volunteer opportunities for upcoming events. Please join in person if possible, but we will have Zoom available for those unable to attend in person. Childcare and pizza will be available during the meeting. This is a great opportunity to learn how you can get involved and get to know your community!

Fall Camping Trip September 18-20
