WOW how time flies - this is our last Konnection of the school year! We hope you have a wonderful summer, and we will see you in August!

More fun for our 7th and 8th graders

This Thursday, our 7th graders will be exploring the Legion of Honor as our 8th graders go on their annual hike! Be on the lookout for more specifics from your child's teachers and please keep this in mind with your end of year planning!

Field Day this Friday!

Field Day is one of our favorite days of the year, where students will be participating in activities all day long with their friends and schoolmates. Activities range from 50 yard dash, relay races, football toss and an epic game of capture the flag!

Students will be given a Field Day shirt at the beginning of the day, and are encouraged to rep their team color in other ways like pants, jackets, wigs, face paint, and accessories.

Please have your child bring a healthy, hearty lunch and a water bottle. Sunblock, jackets, and a blanket for the picnic portion are also encouraged!

This is a family friendly event and we would love to see families join us for our celebration!

Please find the Field Day letter from Ms. Gules that went out yesterday in your email. This has has more details on the day and a list of everyone's team colors.

Pizza in the Park: End-of-Year Picnic

This Saturday is our celebration of another great school year! Come celebrate with us and help us welcome new families joining our community next year! What better way to finish the school year than with pizza, friends, and a pie-eating contest? We hope you can make it.

Congratulations to our 8th Grade Class of 2026

We are so proud of this group of students, and we can't wait to see what they do next! We will celebrate their accomplishments with a ceremony on Tuesday, June 9. We look forward to seeing our students and their families cheering on these graduates.

Next Tuesday is Step Up Day!

Next Tuesday is Step Up Day! Students will spend part of the day visiting their new teachers' classrooms to ask questions, get to know them, and get a feel for next year.

2/3 Celebration of Learning

Next Wednesday at 11am, our second and third grade class is hosting a celebration of learning where they will present their Book Reports! They will also be celebrating with their end of year awards. Way to go, 2/3!

Minimum Days 6/10 and 6/11

Wednesday 6/10 and Thursday 6/11 are both minimum days with a noon dismissal. If your child will be going to Extended Day, please let us know using this form!

AI + Kids-For Rising 4th, 5th, and 6th graders

Hi everyone! My name is Owen O'Connell, and I'm a current eighth grader at Kittredge. I would like to invite you to a free, fun, hands-on AI workshop for this fall.

Here's what to expect:

• Once a week, one hour per session (Date to be determined)

• Five weeks total

• Fun, hands-on activities focused on learning how to use AI in a safe, responsible and creative way.

Please fill out the quick survey here by Friday June 12, 2026. It's not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers, so just answer honestly. I would like to understand your interest in AI. I look forward to hearing from you!
