Once again the Holiday Happening kicked off our winter break with great community spirit. Thank you to the KPA, and especially Thalia Kent and Julie Velarde, for organizing this popular event. Thanks also, to all the families who came and shared the good time and good will with us that evening.

Hot Lunch Returns – order form available here
Sleep a little later and skip the chore of packing a lunch on Fridays. The 8th grade class brings this lunch program to you. It helps finance their weeklong program with the Yosemite Institute. New Chess Session will Begin next Friday, January 15
A new session will begin next Friday and new students as well as continuing students can register. Registration forms are in the office or you can register online at: www.academicchess.com.
New Science Club Session will Begin Next Week

Street and Pavement Renovation on Lake Street Between 25th and 26th Avenues
We have been notified that sewer replacement and pavement renovation will begin on Lake Street this week and continue through February. Construction hours are expected to be Monday to Friday from 8 to 5.

Coming This Week: Raffle Tickets for the KPA Winter Raffle
Please check your child’s backpack tomorrow for an envelope with raffles and information. Your support of this fundraiser helps the KPA continue its generous support of our students and teachers.
Coming Soon: MLK, Jr. Day
As written in our calendar, there will be no classes or Extended Day on Monday, January 18 in observance of MLK, Jr. Day.
Also Coming in January: Re-enrollment for Next Year
From January 25 until February 6, TADS online enrollment will be open for current families. If your child will be returning to Kittredge next year, you will need to complete this form online by February 5th. There will be a $1000.00 deposit needed at that time to hold a space for your child.
