This year's Lunar New Year assembly may just have been our best one yet! We owe a great big thank you to Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy for performing an incredible lion dance for our students. If your child is interested in starting kung fu lessons, you can sign them up for classes beginning tomorrow!

Congrats to the girls basketball team on their win yesterday at KIPP Bayview, and good luck to our boys tomorrow against Gateway (5:45pm at Burke's) and our girls today against Live Oak (4:00pm at UCSF Mission Bay)!
Habit of Mind: Gathering Data Through all Senses
At yesterday's habit of mind assembly, Kittredge kids used all five of their senses in teams to solve a puzzle and discussed the value in paying close attention to what all five senses have to teach us about the world around us.
Renewal Contracts Go Out This Week!
Can you belive it's time to start thinking about next year already?? Renewal contracts for the 2025-2026 school year go out this Friday, January 31. They are due in TADS on February 15.
Kindergarten Visitors
Thank you to Perry, Kindergarten dad, for being a parent rep at Kindergarten Practice this weekend! We met some truly wonderful kids and are looking forward to meeting more in the coming weeks!
Hot Lunch
This week's hot lunch will be pizza! Hot lunches include a juice box, side item, and piece of fruit.

Talent Show
Auditions for this year's Talent Show are coming up next week! Please note that K-8 auditions will take place next Thursday, February 6th at lunch and lunch recess. The audition form is attached to your Konnection email, and is due next Wednesday, February 5th. Please make sure your child brings any music they may need for their audition.

Valentine's Day is just a few weeks away! If you are planning on sending treats with your child, please consider the following:
We are a candy-free school. Please refrain from sending candy.
Make sure there are enough treats or cards for the class. This also means taking dietary restrictions and allergies into consideration.

IMBIBE: The evening will feature the family’s P:4 Pinot Noir,  Rosé-of Pinot Noir and White Pinot from their Vines and Roses Estate in Russian River Valley
SAVOR: Fondue is the ever-amazing art of dipping bread in cheese, meat in broth, and whatever else takes your fancy for this festive fondue party.
Fun fact: Fondue is meant to be a fun, cozy, communal way of sharing a meal and has only a few rules. Number one and a big one at that there is NO Double Dipping!

KPA Grade-level Community Building

Kittredge Camping Weekend
Our 2025 Kittredge Spring Camping Trip is planned for the weekend of Friday, May 16 – Sunday, May 18 at the beautiful Sugarloaf Ridge State Park in Sonoma!
Join us for a weekend of family fun while enjoying the stunning nature of the Mayacamas Mountains, located just a bit over an hour from San Francisco. This park features breathtaking views, scenic hiking trails with redwoods, ferns, creeks, and waterfalls, plus a chance to stargaze at the Robert Ferguson Observatory.
 Location: Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
 Dates: Friday, May 16 – Sunday, May 18
