Author Jasmine Stirling Visits Kittredge

Kittredge School had a visitor yesterday afternoon! As an early start to celebrating Women's History Month, local author Jasmine Stirling came to speak to our kids about her book Dare to Question. During the talk, students learned about the women's suffrage movement and got inspired to use their voices. Thank you, Jasmine!
Futsal Sign-ups
Varsity Futsal permission slips went home today! Permission slips are due this Thursday, February 27th. The first game is next Friday, March 7th!
Project Cicero

We are so excited to once again partner with Project Cicero to host a book drive for Bay Area public school teachers! Kittredge community members are encouraged to send in new and gently used book for ages preschool through high school. We will be collecting books through the end of the week.
Hot Lunch
This Friday's hot lunch will be pizza! Students will also receive a juice box, piece of fruit, and carrots.
If you'd like to sign your child up for pizza, there's still time! Fill out this Google form before Thursday.
Looking Ahead
Chess Club Starts Monday, March 10th
Join Kittredge's Chess Club, beginning Monday, March 10th! Chess Club will meet weekly on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30. Chess Club students may attend Study Hall between 3 and 3:30.

KPA Zoom Meeting rescheduled to March 4th, 7-8pm
There are only 2 more KPA meetings this year! Please join us as we talk of everything WINTER/SPRING 2025. We will check in with Ms PB updates, review where the KPA funds go, and discuss Spring KPA volunteer opportunities for Talent Show Snack, Teacher Appreciation week, Teacher Luncheon, and End of Year Teacher Gift.

Sunday Gravy with the Stephens’ Family
WHAT: Come make your own homemade pasta and enjoy eating it together! We’ll get warmed up with a charcuterie and cheese platter. The meatballs and gravy will already be made and simmering and then enjoy the fruits of our labor together- ending the night with cannoli from Stella Bakery. We will be serving aperol spritzes, negronis, espresso martinis, wine, as well as, sparkling water, coffee, and tea.

Kittredge Camping Weekend
Our 2025 Kittredge Spring Camping Trip is planned for the weekend of Friday, May 16 – Sunday, May 18 at the beautiful Sugarloaf Ridge State Park in Sonoma!
Join us for a weekend of family fun while enjoying the stunning nature of the Mayacamas Mountains, located just a bit over an hour from San Francisco. This park features breathtaking views, scenic hiking trails with redwoods, ferns, creeks, and waterfalls, plus a chance to stargaze at the Robert Ferguson Observatory.
Location: Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
Dates: Friday, May 16 – Sunday, May 18
