Count-Me-In!
Last weekend featured not one but two count-me-ins hosted by members of our amazing parent community. Thank you to the Kathryn and Damian, parents of Liliana, for hosting Pinot with Pon-Barry, and thank you to Jane, parent of Colin and Emma, for hosting a champagne mom's brunch. What a great weekend to be a Kittredge parent!

Please note that there will be no Science Club meeting this week. Science Club will reconvene after our break!

Hitting the Wall
Last week our 7th and 8th graders were treated to a presentation from two Lick Wilmerding students representing their program, Hitting the Wall. Hitting the Wall teaches student athletes valuable skills, including time management and how to find accurate nutrition advice. We were so impressed with this group, and are grateful they chose to stop by Kittredge. Thanks, Hitting the Wall!

Please also remember that if your child would like to bring valentines, they must bring one for every classmate.

Looking Ahead
Jasmine Stirling Comes to Kittredge

Our school is looking forward to having San Francisco author Jasmine Stirling visit us for an assembly on Feb. 24 where we will celebrate Women's History month with a discussion all about her new book. Click here to order her book and have it signed at our assembly.
Jasmine A. Stirling (she/her) is the award-winning author of A Most Clever Girl: How Jane Austen Discovered Her Voice (Bloomsbury, 2021), winner of the IPNE Book Award and a Book Riot and Mighty Girl Best Book of the Year. It is currently being translated to Mandarin.
Her second book: Dare to Question: Carrie Chapman Catt’s Voice for the Vote (Union Square & Co, 2023, Booklist starred review), tells the story of the leader, and the letter, that won the vote for women. Her third book, about Jeanne Barret, the botanist who became the first woman to circumnavigate the globe—while disguised as a man—comes out in 2025.
Prior to becoming an author, Jasmine was an education technology executive, and served on nonprofit boards focused on closing the achievement gap.
Jasmine lives in an old house in San Francisco with her spouse, their children, and an absurdly adorable dog. Follow her on Instagram at @jasmine.a.stirling.author, and learn more at www.jasmineastirling.com.
