Kittredge Parents Association (KPA)

KPA (1).png

The Kittredge Parents Association (KPA) grew out of parents’ efforts to help support our students and faculty through fundraising and community building.  Since then we have become a 501c non-profit and grown increasingly involved behind the scenes in making and keeping Kittredge a phenomenal seat of learning.

The KPA has become an organizer of several of the best-loved, co-curricular events throughout the school year and plays an important part in funding both in the classroom and co-curriculars.

Get involved! Come join us and learn more – including how you can help – at our quarterly meetings, typically held on the second Tuesday of the month and announced via the Kittredge Konnection.  Free childcare and pizza are always provided for the in-person meetings.

See a complete list of KPA-sponsored events here.

KPA Events

Throughout the year, the KPA plans events to celebrate, fundraise, or simply get together as a community.  These volunteer-led events rely entirely on the community.  If you're interested in pitching in to put on a "count-me-in" event, help plan the annual camping trips, organize the Fall social, or plan a picnic, contact the KPA.

Fall Social

In the Fall, parents join together to raise a glass, reconnect and get to know each other at a casual evening event.  Leading up to the event, we typically solicit raffle prizes and ask the community to purchase tickets for Warriors tickets, bottles of wine, vacation stays and much more.  This is one of the larger fundraising events of the year.

Count-Me-Ins

In the Fall, families find creative ways to share their interests and passions - or just get together with the community - in fundraising events called "count-me-ins" (CMI).  The KPA will solicit the community to sponsor CMIs close to the Fall Social.

Holiday Happening

In December, the Kittredge community gets together for an all-ages, family-friendly evening of holiday cheer and fun.  This is one of the most popular events for our children...and many hands are needed to pull it off!

Camping Trips

In the Fall and in the Spring, the Kittredge community goes camping! Group camp sites are booked by parent organizer(s) and casual activities are planned; meals are often potlucks...and fun is had by all! Past camping trips have been to the Sonoma Coast and Bothe-Napa State Park.

Ways to Give

In addition to planning events, the Kittredge Parents Association, a 501c, hosts fundraisers throughout the year to support its community-building efforts, teacher appreciation events, the annual Kittredge Field Day, sports equipment and rentals, etc.

Please consider supporting the KPA annual fundraising drive in the Fall AND know you can make an impact all year round!

Kittredge School is currently registered with Benevity, a corporate matching platform that 900+ leading brands, such as Visa and Google, use to facilitate corporate matching.  Check with your human resources department to see if your company provides a corporate match and for details about their process.
