This Week's News
Rainbow Day is Tomorrow, Wednesday March 13
Tomorrow is Rainbow Day, and that means wearing all the colors of the rainbow! Students and staff are encouraged to incorporate the whole spectrum into their outfits. Clothing with an actual rainbow on it is even better! We look forward to a bright and colorful day.
The Kittredge Talent Show is This Thursday, March 14
It's finally here! After plenty of practice and hard work, the Kittredge Talent Show is this Thursday, March 14, at 6:30pm. Students should arrive no later than 6:15 to be seated with their class.
Light snacks will be provided between 6:00 and 6:30, but we strongly encourage students to eat before the Talent Show - no one wants to perform on an empty stomach!
The Talent Show will be held at Jewish Community High School of the Bay from 6:30 to 8pm. Parents, you are invited to use JCHS's secure parking garage, located on Pierce Street, just around the corner from the school's main entrance on Ellis Street. Set your navigation to 1227 Pierce Street, and use the call box outside the garage to enter upon arrival. If you choose to take public transportation or ride share, you can join us via the main entrance, 1835 Ellis Street, San Francisco, CA 94115
Extended Day for Talent Show
Study Hall and Extended Day will be available on Thursday, though homework will be light.
Extended Day will close at 5:30 so that families have time to have dinner and arrive at JCHS y 6:15.

Wrapping Up the Admissions Season
We want to thank our Kittredge parent community for being such wonderful ambassadors for our school. Your word of mouth recommendations are worth their weight in gold, and we are so grateful for the time and warmth you have shared with our prospective families this year. We are so excited for you to get to know the newest members of our community.

Next Week's News
New Beginnings
Next week marks the beginning of a new trimester! We look forward to seeing how students will continue to grow, learn, and thrive in the final trimester of the school year.
Bridge-Breaking Ceremony
Every year, Kevin's 6th grade class completes a project where students break into groups and build their best weight-bearing bridge out of sticks and glue. This project gives them the opportunity to practice their skills as engineers, architects, and mathematicians.
The project culminates in a bridge-breaking ceremony, where students will compete to see which bridge can bear the most weight before collapsing. The ceremony is a lot of fun, and the families of sixth graders are encouraged to attend to see it for themselves!
The bridge-breaking ceremony will take place Monday, March 18 at 2pm. We hope to see you there!
Varsity Futsal is in Full Swing!
The futsal season is here, and our varsity team is starting off full steam ahead with two games next week. Kittredge will play against KIPP Bayview at Burkes at 4pm on Monday, March 18. Then we will play against SF Friends at 4pm at SF Friends on Thursday, March 21.
